They look lovely.

First I bought the same butterfly charms in a "real 18K gold plated" finish (see photo). I like it very much, so I keep buying them and using them often. When these butterflies (platinum finish) went on sale, I bought them as well. They have slight differences in appearance than the "golden" ones, but they are still very "charming"!!! I haven't had a chance to use them yet. I'm waiting for my next order to arrive with the same finishing elements to combine. I don't see any signs of tarnish yet (in 3 months) and hope they will be this way. Butterflies are very shiny and have slightly upward curved wings. Finish match well stainless steel chains finish that I bought from BP.
